Casa da Guarda

The Casa da Guarda is located next door to the main house and offers perfect accomodation for groups and families, providing self contained living in a charming house with 3 bedrooms.

Guests of the small house have access to all the facilities of the main house. 

The house has an interesting history - it was used by the Portuguese national guard ('guarda') as a lookout over the coastline, who wanted to take advantage of the premium location of the house to police smuggling and other illegal activities.
